April 2017 Topic: “Ransomware and your Law Firm, How to Protect Yourself” – Presented by Gordon Einstein.

Ransomware is a current and active threat which can affect both your law practice, and also your clients. Learn about the nature of the threat, how an actual ransomware attack unfolds, how to recover from such an attack AND how to proactively prevent such attacks. Also, learn how to advise your clients about mitigating and avoiding ransomware attacks in such a manner as sets you apart from other professionals.

Gordon Einstein, the owner and CEO of AdaptiveSky, is one of those rare Los Angeles natives with the spirit of a New Yorker. Gordon received his undergraduate degree in Politics in 1991 from Brandeis University and then received his JD from the USC Gould School of Law in 1995. Gordon practiced law with Weinstock Manion in Century City before embracing his love of all things technology-related and switching careers to IT in 2000. Gordon is reasonably certain that he is the only California Licensed Attorney – Microsoft Certified Professional hybrid in existence. Most of Gordon’s days, nights and weekends are dedicated to AdaptiveSky, a provider of cloud based solutions and security for law firms primarily in California and New York. Gordon’s “spare time” is dedicated towards improving his Russian language skills, maintaining his German fluency, and managing his Ukrainian developers in connection with various software and engineering projects.
