Sean J. Haddad is an associate at Appell Shapiro, LLP. His practice includes both litigation and transactional work. He is admitted to practice law in all California state courts, as well as the Federal Central District. Mr. Haddad represents both plaintiffs and defendants and his practice includes securities, employment, real estate, trademark, and shareholder litigation. He applies insights gained from his litigation experience to the transactional work he does for his clients.
Mr. Haddad graduated from UCLA, earning a B.A. in English. He can read and speak Arabic, as he is a native speaker and continued studying the language in college. Mr. Haddad’s bilingual skills are particularly useful in Los Angeles.
Mr. Haddad attended UCLA School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. During law school, he supplemented his classroom education with real world experience. During his first summer in law school, he clerked at the Disability Rights Legal Center where he worked on cutting-edge disability discrimination cases. Mr. Haddad also clerked at local law firms during his second and third years where he gained a breadth and depth of experience, culminating with his participation in a shareholder freeze-out action that resulted in an eight million dollar settlement for his client.
Mr. Haddad is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He also engages in community service activities organized by the Los Angeles Cedars Rotary Club.
