Kelli Tabb joined Steinberg Injury Lawyers in early 2012. Kelli is a distinguished lawyer who comes to Steinberg with more than two decades of experience advocating aggressively for her clients.
Kelli started her legal career in litigation at a major California law firm that specialized in insurance coverage litigation (toxic torts). Her experience and negotiating skills are assets which she is using to benefit our clients. Kelli is deeply committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client.
EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY
Ms. Tabb earned her BA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1984. She went on to receive her JD from Loyola Law School in 1989. She was admitted to the State Bar of California and the US District Court for the Central District of California in 1990.
Ms. Tabb is currently a member of CAALA and Women Lawyers of Los Angeles. She also serves on the Board of Directors at the University of Santa Monica where she advises on a wide variety of legal issues.
As a mother of two teenage sons, she brings a personal approach to representing Steinberg clients. Kelli oversees our Teen Driver Safety Contract program which raises awareness about the consequences of distracted driving. She is also an advocate for road safety for cyclists. She currently is spearheading a bicycle helmet safety program to provide education as well as helmets to increase road safety for bicyclists.
Ms. Tabb has been involved in a number of community and charitable organizations throughout her life and career. She served on the Board of Directors for Beyond Baroque Art Center, volunteered for Sojurn Battered Women’s Shelter, worked with Theater Palisades Youth and has volunteered with her family preparing meals at the Westside Food Bank and serving food at the Midnight Mission.
LIFE OUTSIDE OF LAW
Kelli loves the ocean and is a passionate scuba diver. She finished her second triathlon in Malibu this past summer. She is an active member of the Los Angeles Triathlon Club. She participates in the annual “Coast-to-Coast” swim with other Southern California athletes where 100% of the money raised is used for swim lessons for underprivileged children. While a busy wife and mother balancing family, friends and career she makes time to cheer for the Lakers and the UCLA Bruins.
