Glenn Block has concentrated his law practice solely in eminent domain for over fifteen years. He has successfully handled hundreds of eminent domain matters for property owners, business owners and public agencies, having taken a substantial number of cases to successful verdict and numerous others to successful settlements.
Mr. Block was named in the list of the 2014 Super Lawyers® of Southern California, and previously was recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star.
As the Chair of the Land Use, Planning and Environmental Law Subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Mr. Block has spoken at various legal forums, conferences and annual meetings organized by the IRWA, LACBA, NBI and CLE. Mr. Block has also written for the LA Lawyers magazine regarding condemnation clauses in real estate agreements.
In the courtroom, he is a zealous advocate who successfully defends his clients’ property interests and Constitutional rights. His demeanor is regarded as personable yet firm. He is a recipient of the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award based on exceptional feedback he has received from his clients.
After obtaining a degree in accounting from San Francisco State University, Mr. Block graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. Currently, he is licensed to practice in California and New York.
