About the Moderator

Attorney Jack LaPedis has almost 26 years of civil litigation experience and he practices in the areas of real estate, small business, and financial elder abuse law.

His real estate law practice focuses on disputes and litigation matters representing buyers and sellers, real estate agents and brokers, insurance agents and brokers, escrow agents and companies, home inspectors, general contractors, subcontractors, homeowners and homeowners associations. Many of Jack’s cases involve the purchase and sale of homes, home remodeling disputes, and neighbor disputes (property lines and shared fences, driveways and trees).

Jack’s small business law practice involves disputes and litigation matters representing small businesses in vender and contract disputes, ADA issues, and disputes between co-owners and partners. He also handles the defense of financial elder abuse matters.

For other attorneys, he is also available to co-counsel in conflict and other situations, ghostwrite, and cover appearances.

Jack graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, in 1995. While at Pepperdine, he was a Member of the Moot Court Board. Jack has been admitted to practice law in the courts of the State of California and in the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of the United States District Courts. Previously, Jack graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

Jack is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a Southern California resident since the mid-1980’s. He is a published computer hardware reviewer, a proud Apple Fanboy, and a lifetime fan of the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and Golden State Warriors.
