Title: “Growing Your Practice Through Litigation Finance”

Speakers: Charlie Brown, Director of Pravati Capital

Summary: Litigation Finance is a fast-growing industry. The law practice can present financial pressures, including cash flow, expensive litigation, hiring new staff, expanding into a new area, and many others. Failing to address these needs will limit a lawyer’s ability to build the law practice. Litigation Finance has been resourcing law firms for over 17 years, giving these firms the financial capital needed in litigation matters and help such firms reach their practice objectives.

Charlie Brown is the Director of Business Development for Pravati Capital. His background includes investment advising and legal marketing, providing a unique understanding of a law firm’s need for funding. Charlie has a broad business background including a Bay Area internet start-up, VARDA Inc., that was acquired and is now Trov.com. He has served on the board of an international NGO, and does leadership training at Vintage Leadership Collective in Santa Monica. Charlie is a Los Angeles native, and has worked with some of California’s largest firms in managing their growth. He has worked with firms concerning single plaintiff’s need for funding a case, as well as a multi-million dollar intellectual property matters.

Each month a group of local attorneys (Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and surrounding areas) gather to expand their referral network among their peers. Join us at the next Glendale TEN meeting. Referrals come from people who know and remember you. TEN makes this relationship-building process easy; all you have to do is show up.
